Aurelian Weave – The Signature Cotton Jacquard Collection
Architectural texture • Quiet luxury • Effortless light control
Material: 34% Cotton, 66% Performance Polyester
Weave: High-density jacquard with a light-reactive finish
Aurelian Weave is a refined mid-weight curtain designed for modern Australian interiors. Sitting comfortably between airy sheers and heavy blackout drapes, it offers architectural texture, privacy, and beautifully balanced light control.
Woven on precision looms, this cotton-rich jacquard features patterns that are integrated into the weave itself, rather than printed on the surface. The fabric appears softly matte in ambient light, while revealing a subtle, elegant sheen under direct sunlight — adding depth and visual interest throughout the day.
- ~80% Dim-Out Performance: Designed for the Australian climate, this high-density weave filters approximately 80% of external light, reducing glare and providing excellent daytime privacy without the stiffness of rubber-backed curtains.
- Soft, Breathable Drape: Light and fluid with an elegant fall, this fabric moves naturally and suits both relaxed and architectural interiors.
- Textured Cotton Hand-Feel: The cotton blend softens the appearance of the fabric, reducing the harsh synthetic shine often seen in mass-market jacquards and replacing it with a more organic, tactile surface.
- Bespoke Tailoring: Made-to-order in our boutique workroom. Custom curtain heights are available at no extra charge when within the adjustable height range.

SIZE GUIDE
SIZE GUIDE
The Golden Rule for Fullness
To ensure your curtains drape correctly, we recommend ordering 1.5 to 2.2 times the width of your rod or track.
Calculation Example:
- Your Rod/Track Width: 200cm
- Fullness Desired: 2.0x
- Total Flat Width Needed: 400cm
- Your Order: A Set of 2 panels, each measuring W200cm (Flat Width).
1. Fullness Multiplier by Header Style
- Rod Pocket: 1.5x – 2.0x
- Grommet (Eyelet): 1.8x – 2.0x
- Ring Top: 1.8x – 2.0x
- Pinch Pleat (Double): 2.0x – 2.2x (Our Default)
2. Track Systems (S-Fold & Wave)
Our calculations are based on standard carrier spacing of approx. 6cm.
- S-Fold (Button Snap): Number of carriers × 12.5cm.
- Wave Fold (Hook Attachment): Number of carriers × 10cm, 12cm, or 14cm.
3. Measuring the "Drop" (Height)
To get the perfect length, measure from the correct starting point based on your hardware:
- Eyelet Curtains: Measure from the top of the rod and add 2.5cm.
- Rod Pocket: Measure from the top of the rod.
- S-Fold / Wave Fold / Pleats: Measure from the bottom of the track and subtract 0.5cm – 1.0cm.
Free Height Adjustments:
We offer free custom drop adjustments if your requirement falls within our adjustable range:
- Rod Pocket: Max 263cm
- All Other Headers: Max 274cm
- Please specify your desired drop in the "Order Notes" at checkout.
Important Terminology & Responsibility
- "Width" Definition: Width refers to the fabric laid flat. It is not the width of the window. You must apply the fullness multipliers above to ensure coverage.
- Rounding: If between sizes, always round up to the next available width.
- Responsibility: Please measure 2–3 times. As these are bespoke, made-to-order items, we cannot offer returns for incorrect measurements once the 24-hour grace period has passed.

We strive for 100% accuracy in our digital displays. However, please note:

- Try Before You Buy: We strongly recommend ordering a fabric sample first. The cost is fully refundable for your subsequent curtain purchase.

“Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.”
CHILD SAFETY
CHILD SAFETY
Child Safety Notice: To avoid creating a possible strangulation hazard for children, any corded internal window coverings must be installed so that a loose cord cannot form a loop 220 mm or longer at a height of less than 1600 mm above the floor level.
Home Curtains exclusively provides cordless systems to eliminate these risks and ensure a 'Child Safe by Design' environment.
