At Home Curtains, we are an Australian owned and operated business dedicated to providing premium custom-made window coverings. We partner with leading national carriers to ensure your order arrives safely and securely.
1. Shipping Rates & Exclusions
- Curtain & Track Orders: We provide FREE tracked delivery Australia-wide on all full-product orders.
- Fabric Samples: To ensure fast and reliable service, fabric samples are dispatched from our local office via tracked mail for a small flat-rate shipping fee (disclosed at checkout).
2. The Custom Fulfillment Process
Your order consists of two distinct phases: Crafting and Transit.
- Tailoring & Quality Inspection (Workroom): Because each order is 100% bespoke to your measurements, our specialist workroom requires 5 to 12 business days to hand-finish your curtains to our premium standards.

Transit (Delivery): Once your curtains pass our final quality inspection, they are dispatched via our secure courier network.
- Metro Locations: 3 to 7 business days.
- Regional Areas: 4 to 10 business days.
- Local Dispatch: Curtain tracks and hardware are stocked in Australia and typically dispatched within 24–48 hours.
3. All-Inclusive Pricing (No Hidden Fees)
In accordance with Australian transparency standards, the price you see at checkout is your final, all-inclusive price. Home Curtains manages all logistics, including any applicable processing fees or duties. You will never be asked to pay additional "surprise" charges upon delivery.
4. Tracking & Safe Delivery
- Real-Time Tracking: You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your order is dispatched.
- Proof of Delivery: For the security of your custom goods, a signature is generally required upon delivery. If you are not available, the courier will leave a card with instructions for re-delivery or collection.
- Authority to Leave (ATL): If you provide "Authority to Leave" during checkout, the risk for the parcel passes to the customer upon delivery to the specified safe place.
5. Consumer Guarantees & Delays
While we strive to meet all estimated timeframes, external factors such as extreme weather or carrier disruptions may occasionally cause variations. Under the Australian Consumer Law, we guarantee that your goods will be delivered within a reasonable timeframe. If your order is significantly delayed, we will proactively work with you to provide a resolution.
