Our curtains are made to order in your chosen fabric, heading style and dimensions. The prices shown on our product pages provide a starting point for most orders, including those that need a precise drop or a small width adjustment.
To estimate the price, first calculate the flat width of each panel. You can then compare it with the listed sizes for your chosen fabric.
Pricing at a Glance
- Flat width is the fabric width of each panel before it is gathered, pleated or folded.
- Drop adjustments within the selected product’s standard range do not change its price.
- Width adjustments of up to 20 cm in total across a two-panel set are complimentary.
- Volume discounts begin at 8 m of combined flat curtain width.
Step 1: Calculate the Flat Width of Each Panel
Flat width is the width of a curtain panel laid out before it is gathered, pleated or folded. It is the measurement we use for sizing and pricing. It is usually greater than the width the curtain covers once hung.
The calculation depends on the heading style. Begin with the relevant measurement guide:

For many gathered styles, use this formula:
Usable rod or track length × preferred fullness ÷ number of panels = flat width per panel
Usable curtain rod length: 220 cm
Preferred fullness: 1.8×
Two panels that meet in the centre: 220 cm × 1.8 ÷ 2
Flat width required: 198 cm per panel
Wavefold (S-Fold) curtains are calculated according to the track’s carriers and spacing. Use the dedicated guide for this heading style.
Step 2: Compare Your Measurements With Our Listed Prices
Select your preferred fabric, colour and heading style on the product page, then find the closest listed width.
A size shown as W200 cm × H250 cm – 2 Pcs Set includes two panels, each measuring 200 cm wide when laid flat. The combined flat width of the set is 400 cm.
Using the 220 cm rod example:
- At 1.8× fullness: You need W198 cm per panel. The listed W200 cm set provides the price for this order.
- At 2× fullness: You need W220 cm per panel. The listed W200 cm and W250 cm sets indicate the price range. We can provide an exact quotation for W220 cm panels.
Does the Curtain Drop Affect the Price?
The drop does not affect the price when it falls within the selected product’s standard adjustable range. For many products, the drop can be adjusted up to 263 cm for Rod Pocket or Back Tab headings and 274 cm for most other headings, at no extra charge.
You may select a listed H250 cm set and specify your required drop within the applicable range. Use the guide for your heading style to determine the correct ordered drop, as the measuring point differs for rods, rings and tracks.
What If You Need a Longer Drop?
For a longer drop, we first check whether the selected fabric is available in a wider option that can accommodate the required length.
Where a wider option is unavailable, we can consider additional fabric with joins. Their position and visibility depend on the fabric and curtain construction. We will explain the proposed finish and confirm any additional cost before you place an order.
Step 3: Allow for a Complimentary Width Adjustment
We can adjust the combined flat width of a two-panel set by up to 20 cm at no extra charge. For two equal panels, this allows an adjustment of up to 10 cm per panel.
Listed size: two W200 cm panels = 400 cm total flat width
Required size: two W210 cm panels = 420 cm total flat width
Difference: 20 cm across the set — no extra charge
In this example, you may order the listed W200 cm × H250 cm – 2 Pcs Set. After ordering, email us the precise width of each panel and the required drop so these measurements are recorded for tailoring.
If the combined adjustment exceeds 20 cm, please request a quotation before ordering. Two W220 cm panels require 40 cm more flat width than the listed W200 cm set. We will prepare a draft order showing the custom dimensions and price.
Step 4: Check the Volume Discount for Your Order
Our volume discounts are based on the combined flat width of all curtain panels in an order, beginning at 800 cm (8 m).
A set of two W200 cm panels has a combined flat width of 400 cm. Two such sets total 800 cm and reach the first discount tier.
